Jaipur based Arch College of Design and Business in association with  Vital Voices held the Global Mentoring Walk in Jaipur today at Jaipur Polo ground.  The mentor walk is held worldwide each year as part of International Women's day.  About 100 Businesswomen of Jaipur participated in the Historic  Global mentoring Walk with the theme #BalanceForBetter. The walk is simultaneously held in 182 places in 68 countries around the world.

“Arch college of design and business l once again served as local flag bearers for this global event for the ninth time in Jaipur, . The walk was designed to bring together established women leaders and emerging women leaders to provide mentorship, guidance and support that will empower emerging women leaders to succeed.” Said Ms  Archana Surana, Founder & Director, ARCH College of Design & Business.

“Around 100 participants who are influential and high profile women leaders in the business community walked  together as mentors and mentees to discuss their challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship in the region.” Said Ms Surana.

Vital Voices Global Partnerships is the leading US-based NGO that identifies, trains and empowers emerging women leaders and social entrepreneurs around the globe, enabling them to create a better world.  On this day around the world, international women leaders from Vital Voices’ Global Leadership Network will walk together in more than 68 countries leading to 182 walks across the Globe.

 ARCH College of Design & Business and Vital Voices Global Leadership Network believe that mentoring is a critical activity in empowering women to succeed as leaders and creating opportunities for women at the global platform. It is essential to invest in leaders because they take the responsibility to improve their communities and further strengthen policies, create jobs and invest in women. These leaders can play a catalytic role to nurture the potential women leaders and handhold them to achieve success.
