Dr Oli Goswami's Achievement in Jodhpur Appreciated by All
Dr Oli Goswami, PGT, Department of Forensic Medicine, Gauhati Medical College was adjudged the best oral paper presentation award winner at National Conference of Forensic Medicine (40thForensic Medicon) organized by Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine held at Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
She received the most coveted and prestigious Late Jagmohan Sharma memorial IAFM travel scholarship and Dr Manmohan Reddy sponsored IAFM cash award for her presentation titled’ Pattern of injuries in survivors examined under 'POCSO Act: The delayed myth’. Doctor Goswami's achievements have elated all people in the North Eastern part of India.
On her achievement, Dr Goswami says, " frankly speaking I never aspire for any awards and rewards. But if I get recognization of my hard work, I am inspired to work with new enthusiasm and energy. In fact, for this presentation, I really worked hard despite my hectic schedule every day both in medical college and back at home."
It is to be noted that last year she had also presented her papers in Puducherry which was also adjusted as the best one. She was honoured by Governor of Pudduchery Kiran Vedi.
Dr Oli Goswami is the wife of Dr Bhaskar Das Talukdar and daughter of Nagen Ch Goswami and Kalyanee Goswami of Guwahati.
