As to ensure positive youth culture, scientific sport promotion and improvement of sport performance, professional service provider sport seed Pro and has been launched in a solemn function held at Lemon Tree Hotel, Aerocity in New Delhi amidst presence of several Olympians, Arjuna  Awardeee, Renowned Sports Scientists, Dronacharya Coaches  and Sport Doctors and media persons.

Addressing the gathering, Lt Gen (Retd) Manvender Singh,  PVSM, AVSM, VSM,- the Man behind the innovative project, said, “ Sport seed  Pro with innovatively structured scientific program, is determined to revolutionise the way we play, train or perceive sports as a whole. It is a noble effort to move the sport of the country in a different way. We aim to promote the environment of the sport in school. Our programme will be fun oriented, child-friendly that aims to bring leadership qualities of the students, build both health and characters of the students. We will provide quality coaching, quality infrastructure and quality platform to the students right from their young age



Renowned coach Gurbaksh Singh Sandhu in his speech said, “Sport Seed Pro has its scholastic structured program that is focused to ensure holistic development of the students

“The main USPs of the brand is that it is the only brand in India launching an online platform to ensure scientific sports coaching anywhere anytime. Athletes, parents and any sports enthusiast can avail the facilities anywhere through online. The move will help them multiple ways,” said Dr Manabendra Bhattacharyya, Ex –HOD, Sport Medicine, NSNIS, Patiala.  

The website was launched by Olympian Garima Chaudhary and Female Wrestler Babita Kumari. Launching the website, wrestler Babita Kumari, said, “It is indeed a unique effort. It will help sports persons multiple ways. They will get their questions answered by renowned coached and sport scientists and sport doctors.”

“I even need lots of inputs on sports. Now the sports website will help lakhs of sport person like me,” said Garima Chaudhary.  

Sport seed  Pro is the brainchild of Visionary Lt Gen (Retd) Manvender Singh. He has served in Indian Army in various important branches before being hanging his uniform after serving Indian Military Academy for more than 4 yrs. Due to his innovative and visionary impact in modification of Army methodology of training, he has been awarded highest distinguished military service award PVSM in 2015. His keen interest in sports and training has caused paradigm shift in Method of Military Training. His passion for sports and scientific training has once again inspired him to conceptualise a venture which will promote sports scientifically along with propagating healthy habits among Young Indians.

Ranjana Singh, director of sport seed Pro inaugurated the function lighting the lamp. At the same programme the Brochure of the Sport seed pro has been launched. Olympian Dipa Karmakar, who could not attend the function due to injury, spent her best wishes in a video clip.The other dignitaries present on the occasion were Debashree Mazumdar, Coach Harendra Singh,  Pradeep Chaudhary,  Bhawani Mukherjee etc

Babita Kumari is an Indian female wrestler, who won the gold medal in 2014 Commonwealth Games. She also won a silver medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the 2012 World Wrestling Championships.

 Gurbaksh Singh Sandhu is the present Boxing coach of India. He started coaching the Indian National Team from the year 1993. He was influential in bringing a medal to India in 2008 Summer Olympics when Vijender Singh of India won bronze, which was the first ever medal for India in Boxing at Olympics. He has also helped Indian Boxers in their Performances in World Championship.·    Garima Chaudhary is an Indian judoka. She represented India as the country's sole judoka in the Women's (63 kg) category at the 2012 London Olympics.

 Debashree Mazumdar is an Indian sprint athlete from Kolkatta who specializes in 400 meters.

  Mr. Bhawani Mukherji has been the national coach of table tennis for more than 3 decades. Known for his meticulous planning he has plotted many medal winning performances since 80’s. Under his guidance India got gold in men’s double and silver in women team at 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi and also Bronze medal in World Junior championship, 2011. Besides this, he was also a member of teaching faculty in NIS for 25 years. He received the prestigious Dronacharya award for lifetime achievement in 2012.

 Starting his coaching career in 1998, Harendra Singh till date has a total coaching experience of more than 350 matches which includes Sydney Olympic (2000), World Cup (2005-Jr, 2006 and 2010), Asian Games (2006 and 2010), Asia Cup (2004-Jr and 2009), Champion’s Challenge (2009) and many more. His current big success was to win the junior men's world cup in 2016.He is also the recipient of Dronacharya award in 2012.
