BJP Captures Post of Chairman and Vice- Chairman in District Panchayat Council Electron.
In the recently concluded District Panchayat Council Election for the post of chairmanship and Vice Chairman of Mewat, both the BJP candidates came with flying Colour. For the first time in the district council, BJP has succeeded in making the District Chief.
After the election BJP candidates, Anisa Banu was elected as Chairperson and Ayub Khan came as Vice- Chairman.
Of the total 25 councilors of the district, 23 councilors had participated in the election for selecting the posts of Chairman and Vice-Chairman where there were a number of councilors from Congress and INLD.
There are 10 women district councilors in Mewat district who had also participated in the election. The election process was completed in the presence of Assistant Returning Officers and ADC Maniram Sharma. The district administration had done the election process with EVM and other election equipment’s as per government rules.
After being elected Anisa Banu as Chairperson she interacted with the media, “People of Mewat has elected me with great faith, now I would work for their welfare and give utmost priority to them.”
There is a jubilant celebration amongst the BJP workers in the district. The BJP workers now give the credit to GL Sharma, BJP district in charge of Mewat and PWD minister Rao Narbir for leading BJP to this victory. Thrilled at the victory GL Sharma said “Anisa Banu is hailing from a very poor family and backward region. Her victory is the reflection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision on Beti Padao Beti Bachao Abhiyan. Now the BJP has firmly rooted in the Mewat district. She also epitomizes Haryana CM Manohar Lal’s ideology of Haryana Ek and Haryanvi Ek.”
Political analysists says BJP coming to district head post in a Meo (Mohammedan) community is a very encouraging achievement for the party.
Present on the victory day were in Charge of Mewat district GL Sharma, BJP District president Surendra Pratap Deswal, Kunwar Singh, Nuh monitoring committee chairman Narendra Sharma, Surendra master Zaildars Iqbal, Zahid Chairman, Tayyab Hussain, Narendra Patel, Gyan Chand Arya, Sivaram Sharma, Fakruddin, Hrkesh, Dan Singh and Sarpanch Jagdeo etc.
