One of the leading Public Schools of Delhi NCR, CD International School celebrated its Annual Day Function on Sunday, the 20th November, 2016 amidst great zest with plethora of activities.

Shri Ram Niwas IAS, Addl. Chief Secretary, Home, Haryana was the esteemed Chief Guest. Among other dignitaries present were Ramesh Acharya , Mahender Shastri, K.P. Singh ( Director General of Police ) , TL Satyaprakash ( DC , Gurugram ), Sandeep Khirwar ( Commissioner of Police , Gurugram ), Yashpal Yadav ( Director, CD Group of Schools ), Rao Rampal ( Chairman, CD Group of Schools ), Rekha Yadav ( Chairperson ) and other Govt. officials, the Principal , members of the PTA, Press, Parents and Students.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the Ceremonial lamp by the Hon’ble Chief Guest Ram Niwas IAS, Addl. Chief Secretary, Home, Haryana, escorted by the other dignitaries and the Director of CD Group of Schools. Entailing the bouquet presentation and pinning of badges.

Students exhibited their hidden talent and emotions through dances from all corners of India. The laudable contemporary dance was dedicated to the mothers all around the world.

The Hon’ble Chief Guest Ram Niwas IAS, Addl. Chief Secretary, Home, Haryana, while addressing the gathering contended that the CD International School’s students who have smartly carved a niche for themselves, winning several International, National laurels. He further stated that when we reward students with prizes, it’s like we are rewarding our state or country’s future.

He viewed that imparting quality education to children has always been a challenge. He added that students should not only be imparted excellent education but also be given great scruples and values so they can effectively serve their state as well as their nation. The Hon’ble Chief Guest Ram Niwas highly lauded the CD International School. Management, staff for grooming students to have Indian cultural roots and global eminence.

He expressed his great elation for having visited CD International School and apprised the gathering that it had always been his keen desire to visit CD International School and that he always enjoys and makes it a point to visit children’s programmes as they are the future of the country.

Bhangra showcasing the flavour of Punjab was a thrilling visual treat. The Vote of thanks was proposed by the Yashpal Yadav (Director, CD Group of Schools. The programme culminated with the National Anthem. The function culminated with much awaited prize distribution ceremony wherein the worthy Hon’ble Chief Guest Ram Niwas bestowed the prizes to the most deserving students and motivated all to keep working hard with sincere endeavours.
