Soha Ali Khan the lead actress of ‘31ST October’, hundreds of peoples along with the producer Harry Sachdeva led a candlelight march for the justice of Sikh Genocide in Delhi on Saturday 15 October 2016.

‘31ST October’ starring Soha Ali is based on 1984 riots that took place after the assassination of Indira Gandhi the former Prime Minister. The film which is scheduled to release on October 21, has been facing the problem with censor board and several other authorities. But the actress hopes the film will get into theaters as planned.

The peace march begun from Bangla Sahib in Connaught Place was joined by Manjit Singh, President DGSMC and hundreds of 1984 riot victims. The march finally concluded at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

The movie has been facing issues ever since its trailer was released. The release of the movie has to be shifted from October 7 to October 21. The Producer of the film, Harry Sachdeva said: “After fighting a long battle with the Censor Board of Film Certification ( CBFC) and High Court , ‘31stOctober’ has finally come out of all the difficulties ”. The film is directed by Shivaji Lotan Patil, and also star comedian Vir Das.
