On Ashtami Day of Durga Puja Bachchan Family Visit the Pandal
On the auspicious Ashtami day of Durga Puja, Bachchan family came to seek the blessing of Goddess Durga and celebrate the occasion, in one of the popular Pandals in Mumbai's Khar suburb, to the great surprise and joy of other visitors and their fans and of course Puja Committee members.
Amitabh Bachchan came along with Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and little Aaradhya Bachchan. They were joined by Shweta Nanda Amitabh's daughter. They happily posed for photographs.
They visited one of the most popular pandals at the Ramakrishna Mission hospital. Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya and Abhishek was in while colour dress and while Jaya was in a pink coloured sari.
All the family members sat in front of the Idol of Durga and offered their prayer. Little Aaradhya was seen happily perched on Aishwarya's lap at the prayer ceremony. Aaradhya also offered flowers to Goddess Durga.
On the auspicious Ashtami day, the family have enough reason to celebrate- to thank Goddess for the success of Amitabh's film Pink and to seek blessings for the release of Aishwarya's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Bollywood's other actors like Kajol and mother Tanuja, Alia Bhatt, Sushmita with her two adorable daughters were seen celebrating Durga Puja in different Pandals in Mumbai. The Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor also attended Durga Puja in Mumbai.
They were seeking blessings for their work and family. Some of the actors were interacting with the priest completely oblivious of their surroundings. Even some of them were seen doing Arti also to Goddess Durga. Significantly this time they didn't shy away from smiling for cameras.
On Navami day several other Bollywood's actors are expected to visit the Puja Pandal. Most of them are busy while shooting for their movies and hope to take a break from their busy schedules on the last two days of Durga Puja.
