After the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena's (MNS) threat to Pakistani artistes to leave and country and replace the Pakistani artistes from the role of Indian movies and subsequent development in the industry, Shah Rukh Khan, the co-produced of big-ticket film Raees is planning to postpone its date of release.

On 30th September that is last Friday, the Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association imposed a ban on all Pakistani artistes and technicians who are working in India. But they exempted the ongoing projects from the ban that includes and ADHM.

It has come to light that the release date of SRK’s may be shifted. Pakistani actor Mahira Khan is in the lead female role and it is also her debut film. As per the report from the industry SRK and makers are thinking about to change the release date as Mahira is a part of the film.

Shah Rukh Khan is not alone facing the heat even Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is also facing the same fate. MSN has demanded the ouster of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan from the film slated to be released in this Diwali. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil stars Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ,Ranbir Kapoor, and Fawad Kahn in a pivotal cameo. The film was supposed to be released on 28th October.

The producers of the films seem to be worried that this development, can severely affect the business of the films. Earlier Raees was to be released during Eid 2016. But Salman Khan’s Sultan also releasing on the same day, the film's releasing date was postponed.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, and co-produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Shah Rukh, Raees will show Shah Rukh Khan in an action thriller. It is a Farhan Akhtar’s production.
