Cheers of CRPF's Passed out Officers
In a grand & colourful Passing Out Parade at CRPF Academy Gurgaon, 86 CRPF Officers including 05 Mahila Officers of the 47th batch passed out on 15th September 2016.
Sh. K. Durga Prasad, DG, CRPF was the Chief Guest and took salute on this occasion. The officers have undergone 48 weeks of rigorous physical, WT (Weapon & Tactics), survival, official procedure & combat leadership to carve out the best in them.
Sh. Sandeep Shakti P., AC, was declared Best All Rounder and Outdoor Trainee who was presented with Sword of Hounour and Home Minister’s Cup by the Chief Guest. Sh. Sankalp Mishra, AC, was declared Best Indoor Trainee while Sh. Vaibhav Sisodiya was adjudged Best in Firing, Sh. Shahul Harshan B., excelled in Physical Training and Endurance, while Sh. Ramesh Kumar Agrawal was declared best sports man. Sh. Gul Junaid Khan, who lead the Parade, was presented with Directors Baton for Parade Commander. DG’s banner for Best squad was presented to Squad No.-1
The officers of this batch are from 20 States and Union Territories of India in keeping with the All India character of the CRPF. The multiple cultures, languages, regions, religions, beliefs and practices they came with have gradually and imperceptibly been merged into one national and patriotic feeling of serving the motherland. These officers will be posted to various CRPF units where they will translate all they have learned into practice in the real world.
Speaking on this occasion, Sh K. Durga Prasad welcomed all trainees’ officers in the largest Paramilitary Force of world and said that they are trained to handle any situation. He advised them to protect Human Rights and democratic values of the nation. Sh. K. Durga Prasad further said that the training is a continuing process and the newly recruited officers will now learn in the field conditions under the guidance senior officers. He expresses confidence that they will take CRPF many more steps ahead and earn a name for themselves and make the Force and nation proud. He also thanked the parents of the trainee officers who encouraged their sons and daughters to join this great force and serve the nation.
DG, CRPF also presented Police Medal for Meritorious Service to 34 Officers and Men of the Force.
Sh. Sudhir Pratap Singh, ADG(Trg.) presented a memento to the Chief Guest and Sh. M.P.S. Negi, Director, CRPF Academy delivered vote of thanks.
