He will again go to China in the month of Oct.2016 to participate in Asian Roller Skating Championship.
Pankaj has brilliantly qualified as a sprinter in the senior men's category (above 19) in the trials held in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh from 22nd to 26th August' 2016. It is an exceptional record. Now his well-wishers want that this boy should be encouraged while giving him all kind of help and assistances.
The President of the Roller Skating Federation of India expresses his satisfaction over the inclusion of Pankaj in the Indian team.
Pankaj is right now doing his college course from a Gurgaon-based reputed private college. He is working hard. His next target is to get the medal at World Championship and Asian Championship. “ I am working hard these days. In future, I want to go Olympic and bring medal of the country. My coach Rajesh Sharma and parents are helping a lot for which I am very grateful to them,” said Pankaj.
Coach Rajesh Sharma was very happy over the achievements of Panjak. "Pankaj has been working hard despite the lack of facilities in a place like Gurgaon. I wish him all the best,” said Rajesh.
The good news is that parents of Gurgaon Skaters under Gurgaon Skaters' Club have constructed a world class skating track, while costing 30 lakhs of rupees, at Balliwas village on Gurgaon-Faridabad road in Gurgaon. All the skating loving parents have made this very tough task possible because of their sacrifice and hard works. Since the land is very costly, they took land on lease from the village and contributed from their own pockets. The parents did not get any help from the Government or any Corporates. Their work is an exemplary act for Government.
The new track will be ready very soon. Now skaters from Gurgaon and Faridabad can practise in the track without any problems.
